Most Recent Building Plans (update: June 24, 2016)
Church,
We are excited as the plans for our new building begin to come together. Please find several important documents below. We hope to hear your questions, comments, and concerns. Please forward these to Matt Greenlee, Yvette Pritchett, or Pastor Alan McGrath. On June 16th, members of the Building Committee met with the South District to present these preliminary documents found below. They appreciated our work and approved the preliminary plans for both financing and building.
The next important step for our project is a called Church Conference on June 30th at 7pm. At this meeting, the building committee will again share information towards this project and the church will vote to approve the preliminary plans. If approved, we will still need to gather one final time to approve detailed plans.
At this point, we estimate the new building construction cost will fall within our budget of $975,000. We recently learned that the proposed detention pond will not be required by Williamson County. Even with these probable savings, we will continue to work with our builders to find and implement creative, cost-saving options. Should changes be necessary to reduce the construction cost, we will address exterior items first, such as the parking lot, and keep as much in the building as we can.
